Midwest Kids Fest’s Kansas City stop takes place at the Overland Park International Trade Center on Saturday, July 27, and Sunday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Throughout both days, kids and grownups bounce from one family-friendly activity to the next, including interactive workshops, an obstacle course, an exotic petting zoo, face painting, stage entertainment, shopping from local vendors, contests, and a charity raffle benefiting local children. Live performers, such as educational songsmith Rockin Rob, provide wholesome entertainment as guests browse the wares of onsite vendors. The first 2,000 families to arrive each day receive complimentary goody bags, and those under the age of 1 enter for free.
