I was in Old Navy yesterday and saw that they are having a swim sale tomorrow  50% off all swim for the entire family.  This does exclude clearance, but for example, girls swimsuits are around $12 full price, so $6 for a girls swimsuit can't be beat.  Don't know the prices on the women's swimsuits there, but I am sure that there are deals to be had!

Apparently, it it some sort of Black Friday event today and you can get your 200 kicks from Shopkick today.  Of course, I just visited Target and Old Navy yesterday, should I go again???

For those of you who don't know, Shopkick is an app that awards you points simply for walking into certain stores (such as the ones above.)  Once you reach a certain number of points, you can redeem those points for gift cards.  Don't quote me on this, but as far as Target, I think once you reach 500 points, you get a $2 gift card.  I am saving all of my points up (I am around 2500 at this point) and cashing in at Christmastime.

Spent a whopping 3 hours at Target this morning with my 1 year old son and we did great!  We spent $43, got $10 in Target gift cards for $101 retail!  Yay!

Banana Boat (I explained this in an earlier blog - a lot of coupon stacking!  Did this deal twice and got back $10 in gift cards)

My weekly grocery stopping - Price Chopper and CVS - spent $23 for $100 retail!

No meat this week - just bought some staples and some treats.  I was most excited about the BBQ sauce and DiGiorno pizzeria pizza from Price Chopper.  I told you about the $1/2 peelies on the display, well, they were still there when I was at the store yesterday.  I used 5 $1/2 coupons to get the BBQ sauce for 50 cents each.  Also, the DiGiorno pizza was $3.99 and there is a $2/1 coupon from coupons.com to get a pizza for $1.99.  That is THE lowest price you will see on this product.  

I headed to CVS as well.  I spent $9 and got 4 Oreos with $1/1 coupon (NLA) and 2 $1/50/1 coupons for the milk (NLA.)  I also bought MORE Diet Coke, you can NEVER have too much, right?

I don't plan to head to HyVee or Hen House this week - I didn't see much in either of their ads.  But, I am sure next week will be totally different and I might just head to Hen House or just HyVee.  Who knows?

And, of course, I JUST did my card shopping. Oh well, I am sure that I can find something I can't live without.  I love the Hallmark at 119th and Blackbob - they are so friendly there!

My grocery shopping for the week: Spent $33, Retail was $93!

I shopped this week at all 3 stores;  HyVee, Hen House, and Price Chopper.  I usually don't do all 3 stores, but there were good deals to awesome to pass up.  

I did the Diet Coke for $4.99 (and I will head back at least one, if not two more times to take advantage of that price.)  I also did the eggs for 69 cents and the bananas for 39 cents.  Spent $7.

Next, I went to Hen House.  I got my McCormick taco seasoning using the 50 cent/2 coupon from the paper plus the printable (check my earlier post on grocery deals for the week for the link.)  I used 7 coupons and got 14 for free!  I also got 5 pounds of boneless skinless chicken for $1.99 each.  Total at Hen House was $12.

Lastly, I went to Price Chopper.  I did their buy 10, get $10 off sale.  It ends today and you really need to take advantage of it!  Even if you don't want to use coupons, there are still awesome deals.  Check my grocery deals post for ideas.  I got 8 peaches and cream corn for 29 cents each, 6 Oscar Meyer deli meats, 2 Crystal Lights, and 2 Velveeta Skillets.  I also purchased 4 blow pops at 20 cents each, but more on that later.

I used 3 $1/2 Oscar Meyer deli fresh meats coupon coupons.com, the Crystal Light $1/2 coupon from last week's paper, and 2 $1/1 Velveeta Skillets coupons.com to get these 10 items for under $10 total!  Total at Price Chopper was $14 for $45 retail.

The Price Chopper trip was chaotic to say the least.  My kids are great with me shopping like 99% off the time.  They know what to expect, but, hey, they are kids.  

Is it possible for a grocery store to make sure that all of their seat belts actually work in those car carts?  It happens to me every time, you would think I would figure it out by now.  By the time I got my kids settled in and sitting down, I had to move everything into a new cart.  At checkout, my son smashed his fingers between the car cart and the checkout lane (because, seriously, they don't make the checkout lanes wide enough for the car carts) and I couldn't move the cart to save my life.  I finally did while everyone just stared at me and got him out to calm him down before setting him down for just a second.  I am watching the register because I am one of the THOSE people who stare at every item and coupon scanned to make sure I am charged correctly when I discover my son is two isles over frantically unwrapping Charm's blow pops and sticking them in his mouth.  Oh yes, he has also kicked off his rain boots and his socks, at least he still had his pants and shirt on!  So, I got to pay for 4 blow pops which both my children just threw on the ground as we left Price Chopper.  

Just another day in the life!

Bought 7 Zyrtec at $6 apiece (used 7 $6/1 coupons from last week's paper so these were all FREE!)
Bought Hershey's bar at 99 cents and used the 99 cents/1 coupon from the CVS coupon machine to get it for FREE!)
Total was $4.80 plus tax and I got back $4 ECBs for next transaction

2nd transaction:
Rolled $4 ECBs from 1st transaction
Bought 10 Hallmark cards for the buy $20 worth of Hallmark stuff, get $5 ECBs
Used 2 $3/3 coupon from CVS website and 3 $2/3 coupons from Hallmark facebook page
