Here is my President's Day shopping from this morning. We hit both HyVee and Price Chopper. We spent $28 and saved $36. Paid $28 for $64 for worth of items - not one coupon used, by the way! Anyone can do this!
Price Chopper had the 88 cent 6 oz blackberries, the 78 Farmland hot dogs, the 58 cent Knorr sides (which we will tear thru) and the 99 cent Cheez-Its. HyVee had the 99 cent tortillas, the $2.99 Aquafina water (not pictured) and the 99 cent eggs.
Both stores were out of an item, but they had plenty more in the back. Don't be afraid to ask if they have more supply in the back. Most grocery stores do. Stores like CVS or Walgreens and Target pretty much have everything out already.
Had a good time getting our deals and finished it off with lunch at Sonic - $1 HOT DOGS!
