You're invited to Celebrate Olathe and the opening of the Olathe Community Center (1205 E Kansas City Road) Thursday, July 3rd.
This
free and fun night starts at 4 p.m. with free games, food, activities
for all ages and 19th Century Fireworks! The Olathe Community Center
will be open for tours & Mahaffie will have activities going all
evening long.
Schedule of Events:
- 4 p.m. - Activities & Food begin - Enjoy hot dogs & hamburgers from Hy-Vee and finish off with dessert from Kona Ice & The Funnel Cake Truck. Play field day games and participate in hands-on demonstrations and activities around the Olathe Community Center.
- 6 p.m. - Join Walk-n-Roll and decorate your bike, scooter or wagon before you take off! Want to go by foot? No problem Walk or Run the trail and support the Olathe Parks & Recreation Foundation Scholarship fund.
- 7:30 - The Olathe Civic Band starts an Independence Day Celebration that would make the Mahaffie family proud.
- 9:30 - 19th Century Fireworks on the Mahaffie grounds.
