Super, super deals on shoes at Target - don't miss out!

So, for some reason, my picture is not coming up, but I wanted to let you know of my awesome finds at Target yesterday.  I bought two pairs of Merona slip on flats in the women's shoe department.  I used 2 of the $5/1 Merona women's shoes coupons from coupons.target.com and got them for a steal!  I got one pair of purple cute flats which were marked at $5.98, so I picked them up for 98 cents!  Also, got a striped pair of flats which were marked at $8.98, so I got those for $3.98!  Yay!  A little under $5 for two pairs of shoes.  

Just print off the coupon and take it with you next time you head to Target.  Some of the shoes hanging up are on sale, but I found both of these pairs right in with the regular shoes.  They were in a section marked 30%, but they were 70 off%  Never trust those signs, oftentimes, they never change them out and you miss out on some of the best deals.

My weekly Target trip - Paid $20, Retail was $72! Used almost all Target printable coupons - you can too!

So this trip was completely different than my others this month - not a food trip, but there were some awesome deals to be had on clothing and other things.  Just wanted to point out that everything here is with a coupon and all but two coupons are straight from the Target coupon website coupons.target.com.  Remember, you can print each coupon twice and get some awesome deals too!

Here is a quick breakdown:
Up and up paper towels 99 cents (used 75 cent Target mobile coupon coupons.target.com) - 24 cents

I think I covered everything.  I spent an hour and a half in the store, but I was BY MYSELF!!  I took advantage of this opportunity and found some deals. 

My CVS trip this week - Paid $16, retail was $85!

So I did a quick trip into CVS this morning - I HAD to get some more Diet Coke - I just opened my last 12 pack, and for anyone who knows me, knows this is a dire emergency!  I did two transactions and used a $5/$30 CVS coupon sent to my email for each transaction.  Got the diapers for $4.30, regularly $12 retail, the U by Kotex was free with coupon from coupons.com, the Lysol wipes were free with Buy Lysol spray, get Lysol wipes for free from newspaper from last Sunday and used 3 $2.50/1 Huggies coupon.  No coupons for the Diet Coke, but one of the few things I will pay for without a coupon.  Gotta have it!

Free copy paper and photo paper at Staples this week!

I have done this rebate deal at Staples many, many times and it is super easy.  You must go to staples.com and print the coupons.  Scroll down and click on Coupons under the heading "Weekly Events."  Go to Staples and buy the two items.  They will give you a receipt to submit your rebate online.  It takes like five minutes to submit your rebate and then you will receive a check in the mail for your paper.  I have always, always, always gotten my money back.

Target and Hen House shopping this week - spent $54 for retail of $133!

Had a good week of grocery shopping - did all of this at Target minus the shredded cheese.  The shredded cheese was 99 cents at Hen House (ended yesterday) so I bought 10 for $10!

Everything else was at Target.  My exciting find was the chicken nuggets.  They were buy one, get one free.  Each was $6.99, so a total of $28.  Two were free and I used 4 $1/1 coupons to pay a total of $10, or $2.50 a package!  Even if you don't have coupons, you still get them for $3.50 apiece, so take advantage of this sale thru Saturday.  My kids love their chicken nuggets!  Also, chicken and steak strips are included with this sale, although they were almost gone when I went.  I also Love King's Hawaiian rolls, so I picked up 3 of those.  Target is running a special of when you buy a Kings Hawaiian roll, you get a free thing of Hunt's Manwich, so I picked up 3 of those free.  I used a $1/1 coupon for the Kings Hawaiian rolls.  The retail of this purchase was $10.50, and I paid just $4.50 for three Kings Hawaiian rolls and 3 things of Manwich, yay! The Chobani yogurt was a deal too.  There are coupons on chobani.com for $1/1 so I bought four of them.  Also, I did the Pampers wipes deal which I posted earlier on my blog so I paid $3.50 for 4 things of wipes.

Here is my CVS trip - this one was a bit tricky and required some planning, but it went great.  I love, love, love the CVS on Woodlawn across from Price Chopper!  I will never go to another CVS.  So, I spent $29 out of pocket, but got back $24.67 in ECBs , so I paid $4.23, but I am going to submit for a $5 Johnson and Johnson rebate plus receive another first aid bag, so this was ALL FREE!  Yay!

Since the CVS ad changes tomorrow, I am not going to break down my trip since I doubt any of you are going to run out at 10:00 at night.  I was very excited about my free diapers, cheap kleenex, completely free first aid bag, etc...

The rebate runs for awhile, so check it out.  Got some band aids and neosporin to add to the first aid shelf!

Chik Fil A Tax Deal special!

Chik Fil A is doing a tax day special on Monday.  You buy your food as usual and then on May 13, you bring back your receipt and they will issue you a full refund.  You have to hold onto that receipt, but I will certainly be taking advantage of this deal.

As I was looking at the deals this week, it is a different kind of week.  Not many "coupon deals" this week, just good stock up prices.  So, ANYONE can do these deals and don't need to worry about printing off tons of coupons.  Hope you see something you like and please share anything else you see!

 I took my husband along for this trip and I think he had a good time.  He made it more fun for sure!

So we got a little bit of everything at Target this week.  No freebies this week, but several things were 99 cents or less.  The Campbell's Skillet Senstations were 24 cents after stackable coupons at coupons.com and coupons.target.com.  The Campbells Go Soups were 36 cents after stackable coupons at coupons.com and coupons.target.com.  The Yo Kids Greek Yogurt was $1.79 after $1/1 coupon (I think from facebook.)  The Skintimate shave creams were around 50 cents (regularly $2.44) after Buy one, get one free coupon at coupons.com and 2 75 cents coupons from coupons.target.com .   The Right Guard body wash was a deal.  Target is doing Buy 2, Get 1 Free.  You can add $1.50/1 coupons onto the deal.  The body washes are $3.50 apiece and after deal and coupons, they ended up being 49 cents, I think.  Lots of stackable coupons equal lots of savings.  Thank you , Target!

Go print your Target coupons and at least get some money off if you don't get the paper.  Plenty of deals for everyone!

Well, I must have mattresses on the brain since we bought our daughter's twin size mattress for her big girl bed this morning.  This groupon seems interesting and worth checking out.

 So happy that JC Penny's is bringing back their coupons!  We used to go to JC Pennys all the time until they got a new CEO and got rid of coupons.  Well he is now gone and it appears that coupons are now coming back!  Yippee!

A quick run into Target : no coupons, no plan. Spent $9.52 for 80 retail!

So we were in the Legends to go to Nebraska Furniture Mart at 9 a.m., only to find out that it did not open until 10.  What is a girl to do?  Head to Target, of course.  I promise, promise that this is the last of the Easter clearance stuff.  But everything in this picture was 90% off and how can you pass that up?  Just so you know, the signs all said 70% off, but were ringing up 90% off!  I picked up 7 spring craft kits for 49 cents each (regularly $5), some egg spinners for 60 cents (regularly $6) some Paas decorating kits for 20 cents and even a cute present tag with my son's initial on it for 15 cents!  

I feel that I must share this story because I realized it when I got home and feel bad for whomever picked up my cart.  So, H had a serious blow out and we changed in the dressing room since we were closest to it.  I wrapped it up and put it below my cart to throw out on the way out.  Well, things got a tad chaotic as we checked out as I was double checking prices and my son was throwing everything out of the cart.  We somehow managed to leave that super poopy and super stinky diaper below the cart for the next person.  I am sooo sorry to that person!

$3.99 clothing at Sears

So I was visiting Manhattan for the weekend, and we were in the HUGE (that is sarcasm) mall and we were walking thru Sears.  We happened to come upon several racks of women's, teens, and kids clothing for $3.99 each. Probably 20 racks total.  We didn't check men's, so there may have been $3.99 racks there too. I scored several shirts, my daughter got a pair of cute shoes, and my mom got several shirts as well.  We also picked up two pairs of jammies for Christmas next year for my son.  If you are near a Sears, you might check it out.  I am the first to say that I am not a huge Sears fan, but I was pleasantly surprised.

This shopping trip started out very successfully as my son slept thru the whole Sears part of it.  He woke up in the Finish Line as we were going there for shoes and he was GROUCHY.  My daughter was no better and we eventually gave up and headed out of the HUGE mall.

Side note, we ran into WalMart yesterday afternoon.  I wanted to peek at Easter clearance.  Most everything was 75% off so we picked up a few things.  That was exciting, but the most exciting thing was that my 3 year old daughter spotted a coupon on the floor as we walked in and ran over to it.  She was so excited, she picked it up, ran it over to me, and said "Look, Mommy, I got us a good coupon!"  So proud!  It actually was a good coupon, one for Oreos, yum!

Spent 77 cents plus tax at CVS, got back $3 back to use for next time! Retail was around $40!

Had a good day at CVS, nothing too, too exciting, but it is a good day when your husband comes home is excited about some of the things you bought like the chocolate and the Altoids.  Makes me happy!

Here is the breakdown:
I rolled $4 ECBs from last week
The coupon machine at CVS gave a free coupon for the Clear Shampoo (everyone who scans their CVS card this week will get their coupon, so go get your free shampoo!)
I got a free CVS alcohol swabs coupon thru my email
I used 2 $2.50/1 coupons (no longer available) for the Brookside Chocolate.  They are normally $4, but were on sale for $2, so I got them for 50 cents.
The Snickers were $1 and I used a BOGO coupon from coupons.com to get them for 40 cents each.  
The Altoids were $1.50 and were BOGO this week and I used 2 50 cents coupons coupons.com to get them for 50 cents.
Lastly, I bought 2 Almay eye shadows and a Wet and Wild Nail Polish.  I got a $5/2 coupon from coupons.com and combined it with a $4/$12 coupon that I got from scanning my CVS card at the coupon machine.  The Almay were $6 apiece and the nail polish was $1 for a total of $13.  I used the $5/2 coupon and stacked it with the $4/$12 coupon to pay $4 and I got $3 ECBS which was the Almay deal this week.  This makes each of my beauty items 33 cents!

Grand total:  77 cents plus tax and $3 ECBs for next week! 

A good week and I have $3 ECBs to use next week!  Hoping for a baby diaper deal as I scanned a $5/$25 baby item coupon from the CVS coupon machine for next week!

Dentyne and Trident gum $1 - Use 2 $1/2 coupons from SS 3/17 and the Buy 3, Get 1 Free coupon from the HyVee ad to get them for 25 cents each when you buy 4.
They are also running the buy 5, get  $5 off deal that Price Chopper is running.  Most of the same products and prices are pretty close to the same.

Well, I am not sure what these are, but fruit bars sound delicious and they sound like the summer to me!  Combine a couple of coupons and get them for free!  They are regularly $2.99 apiece.  Use a $2/1 coupon from their facebook page Edy's Outshine bar couponand stack it with $1/1 Ibotta coupon to get them for free!  I will be including them with my Target list for the week.

Easter clearance at Target - spent $17, retail was $34

Well, for those of you who don't know, the day after a holiday is a great day to stock up for the holiday for the next year.  I was not sure if I was going to make it this morning as my kids and I were still in shock from all of the sugar we consumed yesterday - yuck!  Well, I got a text from my friend that she was already on her way to Target at 7:30, so I got us out the door and at Target by 8:10.  I got my tablecloth for next year along with some fun stuff for the kids.  I really wanted some Easter cookie cutters, so I picked up a few of those.  I also got some kids crafts and picked up Easter matching for $2.49.  Not as exciting as my Christmas or Halloween haul, but I will be happy to open up my Easter bin next year and see all the fun activities for the kids.

Oh, important note.  As I walked back to the Easter clearance, the signs for 30% were posted everywhere and I was immediately annoyed.  I got my kids out the door and dragged them to Target for 30% off?  Well, every single thing that we scanned was in fact 50% off, not 30%!  It pays to scan, scan, scan and my daughter loves to do it - she says it is her job at Target.  She knows if something is going to the scanner, there is a decent chance it is coming home with us! 

Also, most of the dollar spot was 50% off, so we got some craft stuff there for 50 cents, can't beat that!

WalMart trip last week - spent $62, retail was $114

Well this is normally a bit more than I would spend on a WalMart trip, but between milk and my precious popcorn, that was $25 right there.  Have I stated before how crazy our milk prices are?  Luckily, my wonderful mother brought us some milk from another town where the prices are $1.99 a jug, so we are stocked for awhile!  Yay, Mom!

A whole bunch of price matching this week, prices are good at your KC stores thru tomorrow.  Aldis had some good fruit prices, HyVee has the Philadelphia Cream Cheese for 97 cents, Betty Crocker cake mix for 97 cents from Price Chopper (I think.)  My freebees were the Poise products (5), (yes, more Poise!) the Bic razors (7), and the Duncan Hines frosting creations (10.) The Kool Aid Bursts were free with Ibotta coupon.   I had more Bic coupons, but my son had a major meltdown at checkout, and smacked my hand holding my precious coupons and I lost a couple!  I looked everywhere, but oh well, hope someone else used them.  We spent over two hours in WalMart that morning, so I can blame no one else but myself for the tantrum.

Oh well, the best part was that we still had a gift card from a return, so I got this for $14!  Yay!
